Our Work in Action
Corvette Museum
“In an effort to provide an elevated level of accessibility for all Museum guests, our collaboration with the American Printing House for the Blind has been very successful. Beyond simply producing braille plaques, the team was able to think outside the box and develop a tactile way for everyone to experience the shape and outline of the vehicle on display. Having a partner that is creative and driven by the same mission of accessibility is truly wonderful.”
Robert Maxhimer,
Director of Curatorial Affairs & Education | National Corvette Museum
Music Festival Grounds Maps
A major outdoor music festival in the Midwest wanted to empower blind and low vision concert goers to navigate their festival grounds. They partnered with APH to develop a tactile map booklet that included braille and large print formats.
